The Peer Mentor+ Initiative exists to promote a culture of community and mutual support for well-being at George Brown College. Through group and one-on-one facilitation, our goals are increasing student mental health, resiliency, and inclusion.

Mentorship Programs

Interested in a mentoring program?

We offer one-on-one peer support programs, designed to aid social, and mental well-being.

Community Club

Interested in developing the skills that matter to your own development and progress as a GBC student?

Join the Community Club, where we design the courses to your interests and learn the skills together in supportive and interactive group sessions. 

Inclusion Education

Interested in learning more about the Deaf Community at George Brown?

Our inclusion education offers opportunities for students to learn from and about Deaf Culture, which can pay dividends in future work.

Student Mentors

Interested in learning about what a Student Mentor Does?

Student Mentors are trained in a variety of student support modalities, to be able to offer warm, genuine, and enthusiastic support to all of the George Brown Community.

ASD & Friends

Interested in joining a support group for students who feel a connection to the lived experience of Autism?

Share stories, help build each other up for the week ahead, and learn tools and tips for navigating through the world. Online Mondays at 3:00 pm and at D313 Casa Loma Thursdays at 3:00 pm.
