Clubs at GBC are a great way to bring back face-to-face contact in areas of cultural interest, personal interests, and social movements. This is your chance to interact with a wide variety of people, expand your skillset, or find a new interest. Student clubs promote campus life and are inclusive and open to all. Join a club today.
Creating a club is as easy as 1, 2, 3:
  1. Find a common interest or belief that you share with other students
  2. Fill out the clubs application

American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers

ASHRAE helps GBC students get connected with industry leaders, employees and alumni in HVAC and construction industries from the day of their enrollment in college. They can build up connections through participating in virtual platforms, physical conference events through conducting or watching online interviews in their field to be prepared for the market while staying.

Architectural Studies Collective

The Architectural Studies Collective encourages skill and knowledge building through participation in events hosted by the club or hosted externally. This can include, but not limited to: sketch walks, design competitions, talks with industry professionals, site visits, etc.

Canadian Nursing Student Association

CNSA is a communication link among nursing students across Canada. CNSA advocates on behalf of the nursing students at George Brown College. They conduct a series of workshops, speaking engagements, and activations on campus.

Bringing all the computer programming students, and students who are interested in computer programming, together to create a fun learning environment. Help students build a network, find students to do projects with, and teach them new programming skills by organizing events and workshops.

Interactive Design and Experience

Connect like-minded people in a Design Community in George Brown College. Help students to find new opportunities in their career as Interaction Designers, new connections and friends. There will be seminars, presentations, Design Jams to give students more hands-on experience. As a student club, we hope to meet offline to have a better experience of collaboration with each other. In summer 2022 we will apply to Google Developer Student Club to integrate into a global community of Designers and IT Specialists.

This club aims to bridge the gap between sustainability and student experience by implementing projects that benefit students and the environment. A student-led sustainability club will be held George Brown College reach its sustainability goals while engaging the students in a process, and this will imbed sustainable practices into campus culture while empowering students through increase environmental literacy.
