Support the George Brown College Foundation

Dear friends,

The George Brown College Foundation wishes to advise that, in alignment with measures taken by the City of Toronto to combat the COVID-19 pandemic, all in-person events (including award events) at George Brown College have been suspended. Students will however continue to receive bursaries, awards and scholarships despite these changes.

The Foundation team is working remotely, and we are ready and able to assist you in any way possible.
As our mailing and courier services have been suspended due to the closure of our St. James campus, we encourage you to donate online or contact us directly.

Should you have any questions, please call us at 416-415-5000 ext. 3083 or email us at gbc.foundation@georgebrown.ca.

As all of us unite against the global threat of COVID-19, please know our commitment remains focused on our students’ success. Thank you for your ongoing support!

COVID-19 Student Emergency Fund

Make a Difference

Our students are experiencing urgent financial need due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Many have lost their jobs due to business closures and have no way to pay their rent or even purchase food during this unprecedented scenario.

All donations to the COVID-19 Student Emergency Fund go directly to students at George Brown College to mitigate issues such as food insecurity, housing, loss of income due to unemployment, and unexpected education and personal expenses. Please help our students through the COVID-19 Student Emergency Fund today.

COVID-19 Foodshare Emergency Food Box Fund

produce

In response to the COVID-19 crisis, George Brown College students, union representatives, staff, faculty, and administrators are partnering with Foodshare Toronto, a local registered charity, to coordinate, purchase and deliver boxes of healthy produce to persons in need of emergency food assistance.

All donations to the COVID-19 Foodshare Emergency Food Box Fund go directly to the purchase and delivery of these emergency food boxes. Please support our George Brown community through the Foodshare Emergency fund today.

SUPPORTING THE SUCCESS OF GEORGE BROWN STUDENTS.

Since 1984, the George Brown College Foundation has helped support the needs of our diverse student population to keep education accessible to all. We do this by raising money for student scholarships and bursaries, as well as for transformational initiatives that strengthen the College's ability to offer programs for specific industries and professions.

Your contributions help to ensure that George Brown College can continue to provide students with the tools and skills they need to succeed, and support the economic, cultural and social well-being of Toronto and the surrounding region.

HOW CAN YOU HELP?

As one of our generous donors, you can help ensure that financial need doesn't become a barrier to our students' achieving post-secondary education by directing your support to the following areas:
