Paramed Due Dates for Fall Term 2026

Medical Requirements

• Tetanus, Diphtheria & Pertusiss (TDAP)-must be valid every 10 years
• Measles, Mumps and Rubella, Varicella and Hep B-valid once in a lifetime blood work
• Two Step TB Skin Test Negative result (-)-must be valid each year 
• Two Step TB Skin Test Positive result (+)-no more skin test 
• COVID-19 three doses valid once in a lifetime
• Flu shot-must be renewed every year

Non-medical Requirements

• Basic Life Support-must be each year (except S404/S414 valid every two years)
• CPR level C-must be valid each year
• Mask Fit Test-must be valid for two years
• Neonatal Resuscitation Certificate-must be valid for two years
• Intermediate First Aid and CPR level C-must be valid for three years
• Vulnerable Sector Check-must be valid for six months/annually
• WHMIS-must be valid for three years
