Online Step-by-Step Registration Process for the Fall 2024 SEMESTER (September 10 – December 14, 2024)

By submitting your registration here, you will be registered into your selected course. If you are only inquiring about our ESL programs, please email us instead at conedesl@georgebrown.ca

The registration process is different if you are a New Student or Returning Student. Please follow the steps that apply to you:

NEW STUDENTS:RETURNING STUDENTS:
  • Complete and submit the registration form below.
  • You will receive the registration confirmation and payment instructions to your personal email account.
  • Your George Brown College (GBC) student number and a temporary password will be sent to you in a separate email.
  • Once you receive your GBC student number and password, please make a course payment.

Please note that you must make a payment in due time in order to attend the course.

Complete payment for the course:

  • Option 1: online via Stu-View account
    • Login to Stu-view
    • Sign in as a student with your GBC student ID@georgebrown.ca and password
    • On the Applicants Information card, click on Applicant and New Student Information
    • Select Applicant Financial Services card and click on Pay Fees
  • Option 2: in-person through the bank or online/telephone banking
    • Please select "GEORGE BROWN COL.-CUR.YR.-TUITION" as the payee; your student ID is your account number. 
    • Note: it can take 3-5 business days for the College to receive payment by these methods.
  • Complete and submit the registration form below

Online Registration Form for The Continuing Education ESL Part-Time Courses

NOTE: if you decide not to attend after you have been registered, you must withdraw from the course officially by sending a withdrawal inquiry to the Continuing Education department. An administrative fee of $20.00 will be charged for the withdrawal.

Compulsory Courses for the English as a Second Language (R901) Program

Please select the compulsory course you want to register for (one course per submission). Deadline to register is 5 (five) business days before the start of the course.

NOTE: If you are a new student enrolling in the Con Ed ESL part-time program for the first time, you are required to take a placement test. This test will assess your level of English proficiency and determine your placement in the appropriate ESL level or elective course.
