How do I get a Confirmation of Enrolment?

To obtain a Confirmation of Enrolment (COE), follow the instructions for your situation below.

1.Current full-time domestic students

Log into STU-VIEW and navigate to Request Official Documents card and click on "Submit A Request" link. Click SAML to log in (do not enter your GBC username and password).

The Registration department will process your request in 3-4 business days.

Your COE will be issued electronically via the MyCreds™ platform. When processed, current students will receive a notification in their firstname.lastname@georgebrown.ca email.

Once you receive your email, follow these instructions to access your COE:

  • You must register on MyCreds™ using the email address to which the notification was sent.
  •  You must log in to your MyCreds™ account to view and share your COE. Once you have paid the initial $15 fee to unlock your COE letter for four months, you may share this letter as many times as you like at no additional charge during the 4-month access period.

2.Current full-time international students

Make your request using the Letter Request for International Students.

3.Special situations

  • Students enrolled part-time
  • Students with a modified timetable in Continuing Education or Academic Upgrading
  • Letter requests for prior years
