Student Residence – Rates & Payment Options

The following fees are applicable to the 2017/2018 terms. Rates apply to full-time students enrolled at George Brown College. Residence fees include all utilities, phone (with local calling), cable television, internet access, and a fully furnished suite.

Students may apply for The George before they are accepted into their program as your residence application is separate from your College application. Please note, if you are not accepted into your program and wish to cancel your residence application you must do so before June 15th in order to receive a refund of your $475.00 deposit. To cancel or withdrawal simply log onto My Housing Portal, choose your current application click save and continue, and then select “Cancellation/Withdrawal Request” on the top right corner.

Summer Semester 2017
(April 29, 2017 to August 19, 2017)

Complete Summer Residence fees are $2775. Students can pay monthly installments of $750.00 due the 1st of every month with the payment for August prorated at $525/month.

*If you wish to cancel your application for any reason, please do so through the My Housing Portal.

Current residents: to cancel or withdrawal please fill out the Cancellation/Withdrawal Form and deliver the form or email it directly to the Residence Life Coordinator.

The Termination & Cancellation Policy refers to residence fees and the deposit, which are detailed in sections 2.02 and 2.03 of the Student Residence Agreement. Section 8 explains the full Termination & Cancellation Policy.


Please do not pay your Residence fees at the College as your George Brown College tuition account is separate from your Residence Account. Residence fees are only accepted either through your My Housing Portal, online banking, via mail, wire transfer, or in person.
