What is Giving Tuesday?
Giving Tuesday, the global day of philanthropy, takes place on November 29, 2022, the Tuesday after Black Friday and Cyber Monday. After two big days of spending, Giving Tuesday is an amazing opportunity for people to band together and donate to important causes. The George Brown College Foundation is proud to participate in this global movement again this year.
Over the last few years, your generosity has been critical to the success of George Brown College students, navigating through the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, with rising costs of living on the horizon, students need your help more than ever to pursue their academic and career goals.
On November 29th, we hope you will support George Brown College in our mission to ensure that no student is denied a post-secondary education because of financial constraints. Your donation will help students across the communities we serve, including students who identify as BIPOC, 2SLGBTQIA+, women, sole-support parents, international students and people living with a disability.
Your generosity can make a positive, tangible impact on their education, so please consider making a donation this Giving Tuesday. 100% of your donation will go to George Brown College students, no processing fees or administration fees will be applied to your gift. You will receive a tax receipt by email for donations made over $20.
