Prior to registering and attending a mandatory program screening session, all applicants to the Honours Bachelor of Interpretation (American Sign Language English) (C302) are required to view the Program Information Session videos.

Information sessions for Child and Youth Care Fast Track Program (C143) are held regularly at the Centre for Community Services and Early Childhood. Come and have your questions answered. CHOICES is a week long program designed for individuals who are not sure how to decide on their post-secondary path. Participants can expect to learn about the most current career trends; use personal and academic assessments and career planning tools to help clarify career interests and goals; investigate post secondary paths for careers you may be interested in; understand how to make post-secondary affordable for you; access College resources and supports to help along the way; and develop a plan of action for your education and career. This program is held at St. James “A” building, 200 King Street East.

This information session will cover topics like second career eligibility, meeting admissions requirements, and application procedures.

The alternative careers workshop will help you to explore alternative career paths, clarify your skills, interests, and strengths, learn about labour market and career research, and identify training and educational pathways.

This College Application 101 Information Session will help you to get familiar with college programs and resources, understand the program requirements, prepare for international credential assessment and admissions testing, and learn about the application process and financial aid options.

The Explore Careers workshop is designed for individuals who are having difficulty choosing or narrowing down college program selections. Participants can expect to learn some strategies and tips to better inform themselves and make decisions about their career. This workshop can be considered a starting point for individuals wishing to do some self-exploration, learn how to research programs and careers, and create a plan of action that will lead to program selection.

Information sessions for College Teacher Training for Internationally Educated Professionals Program (R403) are held regularly at School of Immigrant and Transitional Education at George Brown College. Come and have your questions answered. Learn about the program content and career options and meet your friendly Professors and staff. Unfortunately, we do not schedule information sessions for the Practical Nursing Program (S121)
