George Brown College Alumni Relations is celebrating National Nursing Week (May 6 – 12, 2024) by highlighting the story of GBC alumni Donna Dingman and Polly Gove.

As we celebrate the professionals who are the backbone of the Canadian health care system for National Nursing Week (May 6 – 12, 2024), George Brown College is proud to continue preparing nurses to transform health care and seize opportunities for innovation and leadership.

Kukucka’s journey from a GBC student to a prominent figure in his industry serves as an inspirational story for current and prospective students aiming to follow in his footsteps.

With state-of-the-art technology and facilities, real-world experience, and faculty and clinical staff who work in the field, George Brown College's Centre for Health Sciences develops tomorrow's health-care workforce.

Flores, a graduate of the Recreation Management in Gerontology program, received the inaugural Person-Centred Language Award from the Ontario Centre for Learning Research and Innovation in Long-Term Care and Behavioural Supports Ontario.

Ontario's Long-Term Care Minister Stan Cho announced up to $25,400 in incentives available to PSW students and recent grads.

Siva fills gaps in the healthcare system through her services agency and provides vital support for internationally educated nurses. She teaches at George Brown's Centres for Health Sciences and Preparatory & Liberal Studies.

With nursing skills, a fearless approach to new challenges, and a reputation as a top-notch communicator, he has become an established leader in the field.

We welcomed the minister on January 27 for a tour and discussion about the demand for nurses in the long-term care sector.

Twenty-four new dental suites equipped with floor-to-ceiling glass and upgraded ventilation technology were part of a large expansion project. We named one of the suites in 123Dentist's honour.
