Volunteering with the Dean's Ambassador Program

At the Centre for Construction & Engineering Technologies our main focus is your success. A large part of this success is providing you with opportunities to extend your learning experience outside of the classroom. A large part of college life includes developing your personal and professional growth, which will serve as a foundation for the rest of your career. We encourage you to take part of college life as much as possible, and as such invite you to become key ambassadors to the college by volunteering your time to represent our school. Your success is our success; and your participation in our Dean’s Ambassador Program is key to delivering this success. Please join our team and take advantage of the many opportunities available during the academic year.

Student Testimonials

"I have volunteered with the Industry Liaison Office as part of the Dean’s Ambassador Program for over two years. As a volunteer at the ILO, we are ambassadors of George Brown for industry and campus events. The ILO also connects industry professionals and students and provides assistance when searching for a field placement term. They are committed to the success of CCET students and are a great resource for personal and professional development."

"I enjoyed volunteering at CCET. It was a great opportunity for me to meet important people in industry as well as other students in other programs. Due to having the opportunity to improve my public speaking skills, I became more outgoing and confident. I recommend volunteering to every student at George Brown College."
