George Brown College's Advanced Studies in Inclusive Early Childhood is a post-diploma, one-semester training program that strengthen your capacity to respond to children with special needs. This program is designed for Early Childhood Educators, teachers and supervisors.

Take your education and career to the next level with the Bachelor of Early Childhood Education – Honours (Degree Completion) program. This two-year program is designed for students with an early childhood education diploma and prepares you for leadership roles in the sector. We also offer a part-time study option for this program. 

George Brown College's Child Development Practitioner (CDP) program is designed for those already working in the field of Early Childhood who wish to pursue formal studies and receive certification as a Career Development Practitioner. As a CDP apprentice, you will be required to take 23 modules of in-school training on a part-time basis in the evenings. This training is currently being offered in a hybrid format - both in-person and online.

George Brown College’s part-time Early Childhood Education (ECE) diploma program will prepare you to work as a trained early childhood professional. In this part-time program, you will study in the evenings taking one to three courses per semester. Upon completion of this program, you will be eligible for entrance to Ontario’s College of Early Childhood Educators. This is a requirement for anyone wanting to work as an Early Childhood Educator in the province of Ontario.

George Brown College's Early Childhood (EC) Management Certificate (Post-Diploma) is a one-semester program designed to prepare supervisors and directors for their roles and responsibilities in childcare programs, family childcare, preschools, nursery schools, family drop-in centres, family literacy programs and early intervention services. This program will also prepare you for management and leadership in the integrated early childhood system that is emerging in Ontario.

The Assaulted Women's and Children's Counsellor/Advocate (AWCCA) (Accelerated) program will prepare you to provide anti-oppressive counselling and advocacy for survivors of gender-based violence.Apply to this accelerated program stream if you have an existing diploma or degree and work/volunteer experience in feminist organizations and programs and are interested in accelerating your career as a counsellor/advocate for survivors of gender-based violence.If you apply to the 2024/25 intake for this program, you will begin your studies in May 2025. To start this program in May 2024, apply to the 2023/24 intake.

Do you want to help others with professional and life decisions? The one-year Career Development Practitioner (Postgraduate) program will prepare you to provide guidance related to career exploration, skill acquisition, and job search and maintenance to a variety of clients.

The Child and Youth Care program prepares you to work effectively with children, youth, and families who are experiencing social, emotional, developmental, and behavioural challenges. The program integrates a holistic approach embedding an ecological perspective and principles of human rights, anti-oppressive practice, resiliency, and restorative practice.

The Community Worker (Accelerated) program prepares students to work for progressive social change with organizations, communities and individuals across a range of issues such as poverty, housing, legal rights, discrimination, food justice, immigration and refugee settlement.This accelerated program stream is designed for college and university graduates and is a condensed version of the two-year Community Worker (C101) program.

The Social Service Worker (Accelerated) program will provide you with the opportunity to learn theoretical models, group facilitation, mental health support, values, ethics and professional practice, and anti-oppressive practice.Apply to this accelerated program if you have a diploma or degree related to the field of social or community work.

The Social Service Worker diploma program combines in-class learning with field experience to teach theoretical models, approaches to practice, group facilitation, mental health supports, social innovation, and anti-oppressive practice.This is an approved education program by the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW).
