As a participant in this course, you will develop an awareness of the community resources available to support your work as an Early Childhood Educator.
What to expect in this CDP program
As a CDP apprentice, you will be required to complete 23 modules of in-school training.
The CDP training is:
- delivered part-time in the evenings (night classes)
- currently being offered in a hybrid format - both in-person and online
Please note: In-person classes are delivered at our School of Early Childhood located at George Brown Polytechnic’s Toronto Metropolitan University Campus, 99 Gerrard Street East. This campus is located in downtown Toronto and is easily accessible by the TTC.

Your Field Education Options

Field placement partners require students to show proof of full vaccination to include COVID-19. As such, students will be required to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 to complete the required field placement components of the program.
