GBC President Dr. Gervan Fearon and Jennifer Grant, Associate Vice-President of the Office of Anti-Racism, Equity & Human Rights Services reaffirmed our commitment to supporting 2SLGBTQIA+ communities.

We enjoyed a fun afternoon with food and activities, including a photo booth, button-making station, community organization information tables and live entertainment.

Join us for a Pride keynote address, Beyond Tolerance: Building a Culture of Acceptance and Advocacy, delivered by Anishinaabe activist and artist Sarain Fox, a renowned advocate for Indigenous rights and 2SLGBTQIA+ inclusivity. She will share her insights on moving beyond mere tolerance and fostering a culture of true acceptance and advocacy.

This workshop is for 2SLGBTQIA+ students and students who love them. The focus is providing nonjudgemental, affirming, and trauma-informed education on sexual health.

Pride Toronto's Parade Terms & Conditions

Pride Toronto's Parade Terms and Conditions: Participants are strongly encouraged to review Pride Toronto's Parade Terms and Conditions before registering with George Brown College's ("the College") parade contingent. 

Photography & recording notice

Photography and/or video recording will occur at and around the parade event, including by participants and third parties other than the college. By registering to participate with the George Brown College contingent, you acknowledge that the college may capture photos, videos and other recordings of you and other participants and use such media for promotional purposes. You will be required to sign a media release form provided by the college. You understand and acknowledge that this media release does not extend to photographs or recordings taken by third parties. If you do not consent to the college's capture and use of your photos and recordings, you must notify Ana Mateus upon registration using your official George Brown College email address, ana.mateus@georgebrown.ca.
