Faster path to professional designation in supply chain management for GBC business grads thanks to new partnership

George Brown College (GBC) business graduates now have a faster path to earning a professional designation in an exciting industry—supply chain management. 

GBC recently signed a five-year agreement with the Supply Chain Management Association of Ontario (SCMAO). Under the agreement, graduates of the Business Administration – Supply Chain and Operations Management program are eligible for advanced standing in the Certified Supply Chain Management Professional (CSCMP) designation program. Students who complete the GBC advanced diploma program with a minimum cumulative GPA of 60 per cent or higher are exempt from the following CSCMP program components: 

• Module 1: Foundations of Supply Chain Management  

• Module 2: Procurement Strategy and Supply Management  

• Module 4: Operations and Process Design Management

The three-year Business Administration – Supply Chain Operations and Management program prepares students for various career options in the supply chain management and logistics sector with a range of organizations, including government agencies, transportation companies, and manufacturers.
