New path for GBC students to earn an MBA thanks to a partnership with University of Canada West

A new partnership with University Canada West (UCW) in Vancouver provides a seamless pathway for eligible George Brown College students to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. The move supports our continuing efforts to give students more options and greater flexibility to meet their career goals.

This partnership is one of the first inter-provincial dual admission MBA pathways of its kind in Canada. The dual admission process grants students a single point of entry to both institutions starting in January 2023. Students accepted to qualifying GBC degree programs who maintain the required grade point average will be automatically accepted to the UCW MBA program. GBC graduates can also take advantage of this new pathway

“George Brown College is committed to developing high-impact partnerships and pathways that support the professional and lifelong learning goals of our students and alumni, as well as the talent demands of the labour market,” said Dr. Gervan Fearon, President, George Brown College. “We are thrilled to partner with UCW to facilitate greater flexibility in credential attainment, student mobility and continuous learning pathways.”
