Biography

Doug Darrah is an energetic, innovative and passionate teacher who is committed to student engagement. His expertise is in creating rich, engaging and fun activities that enhance student participation and interaction. From dance parties to the I Ching, Doug works with a variety of teaching tools to encourage student involvement.

Doug has been inspiring students at George Brown College and making eyes roll with his dry sense of humour since 2000. In 2011, Doug launched Italianismo, a four-week study-abroad course in Italy. This transformative experience has exposed his students to the wonders of Italian art, history and culture.

Doug continues to work with colleagues and George Brown College staff to make his students' experience one that they will never forget.
