George Brown College's Advanced Studies in Inclusive Early Childhood is a post-diploma, one-semester training program that strengthen your capacity to respond to children with special needs. This program is designed for Early Childhood Educators, teachers and supervisors.

George Brown College's Child Development Practitioner (CDP) program is designed for those already working in the field of Early Childhood who wish to pursue formal studies and receive certification as a Career Development Practitioner. As a CDP apprentice, you will be required to take 23 modules of in-school training on a part-time basis in the evenings. This training is currently being offered in a hybrid format - both in-person and online.

George Brown College’s part-time Early Childhood Education (ECE) diploma program will prepare you to work as a trained early childhood professional. In this part-time program, you will study in the evenings taking one to three courses per semester. Upon completion of this program, you will be eligible for entrance to Ontario’s College of Early Childhood Educators. This is a requirement for anyone wanting to work as an Early Childhood Educator in the province of Ontario.

George Brown College's Early Childhood (EC) Management Certificate (Post-Diploma) is a one-semester program designed to prepare supervisors and directors for their roles and responsibilities in childcare programs, family childcare, preschools, nursery schools, family drop-in centres, family literacy programs and early intervention services. This program will also prepare you for management and leadership in the integrated early childhood system that is emerging in Ontario.

This 1-year program is eligible for a $20,000 scholarship.*The Building Information Modelling Management one-year graduate certificate program provides hands-on training, teaching you to apply the principles of Building Information Modelling (BIM) to all aspects of a project, from conceptualization to operation. When you graduate, you'll be able to deploy BIM applications in any organization involved in the procurement, design, construction, and operation of building facilities. The Civil Engineering Technology three-year advanced diploma program focuses on the planning, design, and construction of roads, bridges, tunnels, subdivisions, buildings, municipal services, and heavy infrastructure. You'll learn how to ensure that projects are functional and economical, while meeting standards and codes. Enjoy learning through a blend of lectures, labs, and tutorials, with a focus on real drawing sets. You'll also have the option to complete a co-op after your fifth semester.

Construction engineering technicians work with home builders and general contractors, bid for construction work, and organize and supervise the participation of various trades involved in a construction project. This three-year Heating, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning Technology advanced diploma program provides you with an understanding of the factors involved in designing, building, controlling, and maintaining energy-efficient building environmental systems. The first two years of the program will give you practical skills through hands-on projects in the shops. You'll work on a wide range of furnaces, air conditioners, refrigeration equipment, and other appliances in our labs. The three-year Interior Design advanced diploma program prepares you for a future in the interior design industry. This program not only helps you become a valuable member of a design team, but also gives you life skills that go well beyond the world of design.Each semester, your main studio courses teach you how to develop conceptual designs for residential and commercial spaces, how to represent designs in 2D and 3D using a broad range of architectural drawing programs, and how to communicate design intentions using construction drawings. In your project work, you'll incorporate building code, sustainability, accessibility, lighting, textiles, furniture, colour, and ergonomics. The one-year Advanced Manufacturing graduate certificate program provides hands-on instruction in safe working, machining skills, machine programming, part inspection, and precision measurement. Experiential learning is essential to this program as you practice advanced precision machining skills. This graduate certificate is an excellent option if you're currently working full-time and want to further your education. Our course delivery will allow you to remain at work.
