For the second time in three years George Brown College’s men’s indoor soccer team ended its season on the highest of notes—as the OCAA (Ontario Colleges Athletics Association) champions.
The Huskies clinched the 2019 title at the OCAA championship on Friday, March 22 with a 1-0 win over the Fanshawe Falcons.
"The whole team was well prepared, and we came having the mindset of nothing but gold. We worked hard, everyone did their role and it turned out well," the Huskies’ Mathew Da Silva said.
The win marked the Huskies’ fifth straight season with a medal result.
