Biography

Ted Snell has been a teacher for twenty-five years with much of that spent in the Ontario college system. He has been teaching at George Brown College since 2000, and has been a full-time professor for the last three years. Originally hired to teach web design, Ted now teaches a variety of business computing and new media related courses on Microsoft Office, Project and Access, e-business and digital marketing. In addition, he is currently piloting the Centre for Business’ new soft skills course on ethics, psychology and interpersonal relations.

Ted has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto (Victoria College) with a major in psychology and a minor in philosophy. He also has an MBA from Athabasca University. He worked for many years in new media in the publishing and not-for-profit sectors producing web, print and video materials. In his spare time, Ted enjoys fitness, cycling, tennis, films and international travel.
