Geraldine (Jerri) Johnson will be remembered for the joy that she had and shared with others. It is with great sadness that the world lost Jerri on October 6, 2021.
Jerri’s effervescent spirit brought creativity and colour into the lives of many. As a teacher at George Brown College for 20 years, Jerri inspired her students through playfulness, love and support. Her warmth and generosity fostered success in the students she taught, leaving a profound impact on the Graphic Design industry.
To honour Jerri’s memory at George Brown College, a scholarship has been created in her name. The Jerri Johnson Memorial Scholarship will support students in the Graphic Design program at George Brown College who demonstrate interest and a spirit of dedication to the field of Corporate and Package Design. We hope that this scholarship will inspire designers to be creative and have fun with their work, as Jerri did.
Donations to the Jerri Johnson Memorial Scholarship will elicit a tax receipt for the full amount. 100% of your donation will directly go to support the scholarship.
