When anyone at George Brown College talks about badminton, chances are they are also talking about coach Kim Ng. For over the past 35 years, he has had a significant impact on the lives of our students and helped promote the sport of badminton at George Brown.
Throughout his 35 years at George Brown, Kim has coached more than 500 Varsity badminton players and has coached numerous badminton teams to Provincial Championship Finals. For Kim, coaching is more than something he does, it is part of who he is. It is his passion, to play on the court and help others achieve, and watch them grow and succeed.
But his impact doesn’t end there...
Access to education and student success is a huge part of why Coach Ng established the Kim Ng Endowment to help student-athletes succeed in their studies at George Brown.
Your donation today in honour of Kim Ng's 35 years of service will go directly to the KIM NG ENDOWMENT FUND, increasing the principal amount which is held in perpetuity. The annual distribution of this award will help provide financial support for full-time student-athletes.
