Support the De La Salle Bursary at George Brown College

The De La Salle Bursary is named for John Baptist De La Salle, the founder of the Christian Brothers and a tireless philanthropist who spent his life establishing schools for the poor and training the teachers who worked there.

Established in 1998, the bursary assists students across the College, including the Community Services and Health Sciences programs, as well as the Augmented Education program – a unique training and employment support model developed by George Brown College and the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH). Recently, the De La Salle Bursary has expanded its reach to include the Kevin Kobus Award and the Aaron Berhane Memorial Student Scholarship, created to support students from underrepresented communities so they can attend college.

More than 60% of students attending George Brown College require some form of financial assistance. Together we can level the playing field. Please donate today and help our students pursue their academic and career goals.

We would like to kindly thank you for any amount of contribution towards De La Salle Bursary. If you donate $1,000 or more annually to the George Brown College Foundation, you will receive an invitation to our Chancellor's Circle.
