Jim Daku
Biography
Jim is an academic leader, experienced administrator and educator who brings his diverse business management experience into his role as a professor at the School of Accounting and Finance at George Brown Polytechnic. Holding a PhD in Leadership, Higher and Adult Education from the University of Toronto, Jim has more than 10 years of teaching experience at both college and university level.
Jim is distinguished by his passion for teaching, his focus on collaboration, and ongoing professional development. He supports faculty diversity and student success through academic excellence and innovation in teaching and learning. During his career at George Brown Polytechnic he has developed strong business and educational partnerships to enhance diploma, postgraduate and degree programs in accounting and finance that resulted in increased employment opportunities for GBC students and graduates.
