George Brown Polytechnic is located on the traditional territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation and other Indigenous peoples who have lived here over time. We are grateful to share this land as treaty people who learn, work and live in the community with each other.
The following fees apply to the 2026/2027 terms. Rates apply to full-time students enrolled at George Brown Polytechnic. Residence fees include all utilities, phone (with local calling), cable television, internet access, and a fully furnished suite.
Students may apply for The George before they are accepted into their program, as your residence application is separate from your College application. Please note, if you are not accepted into your program and wish to cancel your residence application, you must do so before June 08, 2026. To cancel or withdraw, simply log onto My Housing Portal and go to the "Cancellation Request" tab at the top.

Payment Methods
Payment Method 1: Credit / Debit through the portal
My Housing Portal accepts payments from MasterCard, Visa, and many major banks.
Payment Method 2: Online Bill Payee Banking
Many major Canadian banks offer “George Brown Polytechnic Residence” as a bill payee. *Please do not confuse this with “George Brown Polytechnic” payee, which is reserved for tuition fees.
Payment Method 3: Certified Cheque / Money Order
You may courier your payment in the form of a certified cheque/money order. Please do not send certified cheque/money by regular mail. Make all cheques payable to “CLC George Brown”. Address to 80 Cooperage St, Toronto ON, M5A 0J3 Attn To: Residence Manager.
PLEASE NOTE: you will not be notified if your payment has been received. For account information please check the Portal under the tab “Accounts” and you will be able to view your own account transactions online.
