George Brown Polytechnic is located on the traditional territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation and other Indigenous peoples who have lived here over time. We are grateful to share this land as treaty people who learn, work and live in the community with each other.
To secure your seat and register for courses at George Brown Polytechnic, you must pay a tuition deposit before your first term of each academic year.
Your tuition deposit is non-refundable and is applied directly to your tuition fees. It is not an additional charge.
Follow the steps below to pay your tuition deposit.
Check the Deposit Amount
- Domestic students: $500
- International students*: $2,000
*New international students are required to pay at least $2,000 but have the option to pay their first semester or first-year tuition to accept their offer and confirm their registration.
Confirm the Tuition Deposit Due Date
Check your invoice and your STU-VIEW account for the most up-to-date tuition deposit due date information.
New international students need to pay by the deadline listed on their letter of acceptance.
Pay Your Tuition Deposit
Domestic Students
Pay through your bank
(Online or telephone banking, or in person at a branch)
- Choose Bill Payment Payee corresponding to George Brown Polytechnic – Tuition.
- Do not choose the Residence option.
- Your George Brown Polytechnic student number is your account number.
Please note that it can take three to five business days for George Brown to receive your payment. Payments must be received by the due date.
Pay with PayMyTuition
Log in to your STU-VIEW account and navigate to the following locations:
- New Students (You have accepted your offer and want to pay your deposit): Log into STU-VIEW using the Applicant Login. Go to the Applicant Information card and navigate to Applicant Financial Services card and select the Pay Fees link.
- Returning Students: Log in to STU-VIEW using the Student/Employee Login. Go to the Payment Centre (Pay Fees) card and select the Pay Fees link.
Payment methods accepted by PayMyTuition include Interac e-transfers, credit card (Visa, MasterCard, and American Express) and online bill payments. Note the service fees, if applicable, when selecting your preferred payment method.
Payments processed through PayMyTuition will appear as a charge by “George Brown” on your banking statements. A $15 charge will be applied to your account for any returned payments.
