AI Centre of Excellence

Main Content

The AI Centre of Excellence is George Brown Polytechnic’s central hub for artificial intelligence (AI) guidance, tools, training, communications, and institutional resources. It supports a responsible, secure, and human-first approach to AI adoption across teaching, learning, work, service delivery, and institutional transformation.

The centre brings together trusted information and practical supports for employees, faculty, students, leaders, and teams exploring or implementing AI. It provides clear pathways to George Brown’s AI principles, related policies, institutionally supported tools, training opportunities, teaching and learning resources, research guidance, AI Innovation Challenge information, and AI-related communications.

As AI continues to shape how people learn, teach, work, create, and solve problems, the AI Centre of Excellence supports the George Brown community in building shared capacity, strengthening practical capability, and moving from exploration to responsible implementation.

This work is guided by curiosity, care, and intention. George Brown is encouraged to think boldly about what is possible, question deeply to understand risks and limitations, and act purposefully in ways that strengthen learning, work, and service across the polytechnic.
