George Brown Polytechnic is located on the traditional territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation and other Indigenous peoples who have lived here over time. We are grateful to share this land as treaty people who learn, work and live in the community with each other.
How we can support your success
Our goals are to increase student mental health, resiliency and inclusion.
Having someone to empathetically and non-judgementally listen to you makes a difference. Our Peer Mentor services can help, with safe spaces on campus to rest in, groups to support and one-to-one peer support.

If you need immediate support, see our Urgent Resources page.

1-on-1 Peer Mentoring
Transform your mental well-being. Get personalized mental health support with our 1-on-1 peer mentoring. Connect with a Peer Mentor to get help with applying for awards and bursaries, talking through social or school difficulties, and finding community on campus.
Peer Mentors are available Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., either virtually on Teams or Zoom or in-person at St. James Campus.
