The Procurement Department

The Procurement Department serves the interest of the College community, Ontario residents and vendors by facilitating the acquisition of all goods and services in compliance with the BPS Directives achieving the best value for money and supporting the college's objectives to achieve excellence in education.

Mission

The Purchasing department provides functional management, leadership, and policy direction for procurement activities.

Goal

The goal of the department is to ensure the College effectively and efficiently manage its acquisition process. We strive to help our internal clients plan acquisitions and get what they need at fair and reasonable prices, when they need it, using the best methods and tools; ensuring adherence to high standards of professional and service integrity. We provide an open, fair, transparent and competitive process for all vendors.

The Procurement and Contract Services website is designed to assist users who do or would like to do business with George Brown Polytechnic. The web site provides general procurement policies and contract information for the College based on established policies and Industry-standard practices.
