Health clinics for the public at George Brown Polytechnic’s Daphne Cockwell Faculty of Health Sciences 

WAVE (Wellness, Applied Research and Visionary Education) is an onsite group of clinics spanning nearly 40,000 square feet of space where students from George Brown Polytechnic’s Health Sciences programs provide health and wellness services including dental and hearing assessments, under the supervision of qualified health care professionals. 

Located in a state-of-the-art, ecofriendly building on Toronto’s waterfront, WAVE offers a wide range of economical services for clients of all ages.

WAVE Dental Clinic Services and Fees

      WAVE Hearing Clinic Services and Fees

      Get a free hearing test administered by the students in our Hearing Instrument Specialist program. Please book your appointment with the WAVE Client Services Reception.

      WAVE Client Services Reception Hours of Operation 

      • September to October: Monday – Friday: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. 
      • November to April: Monday – Friday: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. 

      The WAVE Clinic is closed for on-site appointments in June, July and August, intersession weeks in October and February, examination days, and development days.

      Please Note: 

      • George Brown Polytechnic accepts clients to the clinical facilities based on their suitability for teaching purposes and reserves the right to refuse any client deemed not suitable. If you become a client of the WAVE Dental Clinic, appointments will be scheduled on the days and times that the assigned student is available. As our students are developing their oral health skills, complete treatments typically require between four to five appointments, and sometimes more. Dentures typically require six to nine appointments. Once you register with us, you will automatically be placed in a queue to be screened and subsequently assigned to a student. While we do our best to respond to all requests in a timely manner, please be aware that we receive a high volume of treatment requests. We will connect with you as soon as we are able. 
      • We require clients who do not speak English to bring a friend or family member to each appointment to translate information.
      • Anyone attending the Clinics must have a confirmed appointment and must pass a Health Pre-Screening process. 
      • Payment options include Visa, Mastercard, Amex and debit card. We accept the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP), Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP), and Healthy Smiles, and provide claims for private dental insurance. Fees are in effect as of September 2025. Fees and services are subject to change.
