The Business Administration three-year advanced diploma program will give you a wide variety of options for your career in the business world. With the skills you'll learn, you’ll be able to land fulfilling jobs like an assistant manager, customer service representative, financial services representative, project manager or coordinator, or sales associate.

We’ve designed the Business Administration advanced diploma program to give you the best shot at a wide range of career options in different areas of business. After completing the program, you'll have the skills and knowledge to work in different team settings and even lead your own projects. This program will give you the tools you need to hit the ground running with practical, relevant skills that will set you up for success.

Here are some skills you’ll be able to show off after completion of the Business Administration advanced diploma program:

  • Conduct and present research to help make important business decisions
  • Take the latest trends and technologies in business and use them to support a company’s goals
  • Put together a business plan that outlines the big-picture vision of an organization
  • Apply human resource practices to help achieve management objectives and the organization's goals.

Fourteen programs at the Centre for Business have earned international recognition from the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). Advanced diploma and diploma programs at the Schools of Accounting and Finance, Human Resources, Management, and Marketing and the Honours Bachelor of Commerce (Financial Services) program at the School of Accounting and Finance have ACBSP accreditation. George Brown is now one of only two colleges in Ontario to have earned ACBSP accreditation.   

Your Field Education Options

This program (B145) is also offered with work experience. Students who wish to apply for Business Administration with work experience should apply to B155.

The Business Administration advanced diploma is designed to offer the widest range of possible career choices and opportunities in a variety of business disciplines. Graduates are prepared to work in diverse team settings and lead projects with relevant and practical skills.

This learning experience will enable you to:

  • Conduct and present research to support business decision-making.
  • Assess and use current concepts/systems and technologies to support an organization's business initiatives.
  • Develop a business plan to formulate the strategic direction of an organization.
  • Apply human resource practices to support management objectives and the organization's goals.

This Centre for Business program is part of our School of Management.

George Brown College's Centre for Business programs has earned international recognition from the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). Centre for Business diplomas, advanced diplomas, and degree programs, 14 in total, have been accredited globally at our Schools of Accounting & Finance, HR, Management, and Marketing. George Brown is now one of only two colleges in Ontario to have earned ACBSP accreditation. 

Note: George Brown College has adopted a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) initiative. As a result, Centre for Business students registered in this program are required to bring their own laptops.
