This program is entirely online, including lectures, exams and class projects. You'’ll be able to:

In the Mechanical Technician – CNC and Precision Machining two-year diploma program, you’ll dive into the world of precision machining and cutting-edge computer-controlled machine (CNC) technology. Our state-of-the-art labs, including Precision Machining, CAD/CAM, CNC, Research, and Robotics, will set you up with hands-on training and real-world skills. You’ll design and manufacture tools, jigs, fixtures, precision fabrication, assemblies and prototypes using computer-aided design and manufacturing software, precision machining equipment and sophisticated CNC machine tool technology. In your final year, you’ll enhance your learning through a 15-week co-op placement with industry partners.

Our two-year Fashion Business Industry diploma program offers a blend of business management and technical skills necessary for small- to medium-sized businesses in the apparel fashion industry. This entrepreneurial-focused program will guide you through crafting a comprehensive business plan essential to launching or managing a business. You'll gain an understanding of textiles, garment construction, quality criteria and apparel merchandising while learning to apply marketing, accounting, financial and other business concepts essential for thriving in the fashion business industry.

The Fashion Management two-year diploma program offers a comprehensive and hands-on approach to learning about the fashion industry. The Early Childhood Education (Fast-Track) program is for graduates with a diploma or degree in a related field. This fast-track stream will prepare you for a rewarding career working with children from six weeks to 12 years of age in a variety of early childhood education settings.

George Brown's Early Childhood Education Diploma program will prepare you for a rewarding career in a rapidly evolving sector. In this 16-month online program stream, you will learn to work with children from six weeks to 12 years of age in a variety of early childhood education settings. Students will complete four in-person field placements.

The two-year General Arts and Science diploma program will help you strengthen your academic skills and refine your goals for further post-secondary studies. Through our articulation agreements with several universities, you’ll be able to enter many degree programs with advanced standing. As part of this program, you’ll take a wide range of required courses in the arts, humanities, social sciences and sciences. You’ll also get to choose two liberal studies electives to broaden your thinking and analytical skills.

The Community Worker program prepares students to work for progressive social change with organizations, communities, and individuals across a range of issues such as poverty, housing, legal rights, discrimination, food justice, immigration and refugee settlement.

Apply to this accelerated stream, a condensed version of the two-year Community Worker (C101) program, if you have an existing diploma or degree.

The Social Service Worker diploma program combines in-class learning with field experience to teach you the skills you need to succeed. You will study theoretical models and approaches to practice as you develop skills in group facilitation, mental health supports, social innovation and anti-oppressive practice. Please note that while the program is classroom-based, a few specific courses offer online sections to enhance access.

Graduates of this program are eligible to register with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW).

The Social Service Worker (Accelerated) program will provide you with the opportunity to learn theoretical models, group facilitation, mental health support, values, ethics and professional practice, and anti-oppressive practice. Please note that while the program is classroom-based, a few specific courses offer online sections to enhance access.

You can apply to this accelerated program if you have a diploma or degree related to social or community work.

Graduates of this program are eligible to register with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW).

The Health Information Management program will prepare you to participate in the collection and organization of health information. Over the course of two years, you will develop the skills and knowledge you need to work as health information practitioner.

The Office Administration – Health Services program will help you develop the specialized skills needed to work in a variety of health-care settings. You’ll learn relevant technological skills like computer applications and specialized software, medical terminology, clinical and office procedures, effective oral and written communication skills and soft skills such as interpersonal skills, teamwork and customer service.

The practice-oriented and hands-on Orthotic/Prosthetic Technician program will teach you to be competent with many hand tools and specialized machines used in the fabrication of orthotic and prosthetic devices. 

George Brown Polytechnic's Practical Nursing program will teach you the foundational skills required to work as a registered practical nurse in Ontario. Following successful completion of this program, you will be eligible to write the Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) Registration Examinations – two qualifying examinations required by the Ontario College of Nurses.
