If you have acquired skills and knowledge of a course through formal, non-formal or experiential learning such as work, training, independent study, volunteering, travel, hobbies or family experiences, you may be eligible for our Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition (PLAR) process.

For more information, visit What is Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition (PLAR)? or contact plar@georgebrown.ca for assistance.

If you want to receive credit for work completed at another post-secondary institution you will need to apply for a transfer credit. For information on how to apply for a transfer credit (course exemption), please see Transferring Your Credits or contact transfercredit@georgebrown.ca
