Transferring to Programs Within Your Current Program Area

In order to apply to transfer into a different program within your program area, you should first visit your Academic Office.

Consideration for transferring programs will place particular attention on;

  • The reasons given by the student for program transfer
  • The prevailing academic record of the student
  • The availability of space in the program

Program testing may be required as appropriate, in order to ascertain the suitability of the candidate for the program to which he/she is applying. Based on the decision of the department, the student will or will not be admitted to the new program, and the Office of the Registrar will be notified accordingly.
