Ready to Apply?

Applications for the Youth in Trades Access & Opportunity Scholarship (YTAOS) are now open. Deadline to apply: July 31, 2026

This application is designed to be simple and accessible and should take approximately 10 to 15 minutes to complete.

You will be asked to provide:

  • personal and program information 
  • budget worksheet
  • two short written responses 
  • optional additional information about your circumstances or experiences 
  • an optional note of support, if available

Thank you for your interest in the Youth in Trades Access & Opportunity Scholarship (YTAOS).

This scholarship supports youth who are beginning a skilled trades program at George Brown Polytechnic and may be facing financial or social barriers.

You do not need perfect grammar or formal writing. We simply want to understand your goals, your circumstances, and how this scholarship could support you.
