Learn to develop content that harnesses the transformative impact of cutting-edge technologies, including LED walls and more, with the two-year Animation – 3D for Extended Reality (P113) program. 

Develop expertise in industry best practices, pipelines, storytelling, and storyboarding. In this diploma program, students gain knowledge and skills in 3D animation for film, television, digital video, and virtual platforms by building a foundation in traditional digital animation and progressing seamlessly into virtual production creation, with an emphasis on content development for LED walls. 

The program prepares graduates with the skills necessary to thrive in the animation industry as entry-level developers. Graduates will have gained the skills to craft compelling content using existing software and innovative methods and stay at the forefront of advancements in the field. 

Program Specific Computer Requirements

You'll need to have access to a personal computer with the following minimum specifications:

  • 13th Gen Intel® Core™ i9-13900HX (36 MB cache, 24 cores, 32 threads, up to 5.40 GHz Turbo) or equivalent AMD
  • Windows 11 Home
  • NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 4070, 8 GB GDDR6
  • 16" QHD+ (2560 x 1600) 240Hz, 3ms, DCI-P3 100%, ComfortViewPlus, NVIDIA G-SYNC+DDS Display or equivalent.
