Foundations in Banking Program

The Foundations in Banking Program enables learners to explore and develop a wide range of skills to work in a variety of career choices within the Banking Services. This 13 week program will introduce learners through theory and practice to a broad spectrum of concepts and equip them with tools to establish an understanding of customer service excellence, strategic communication, business and banking concepts, computer applications, critical decision making, financial service sector culture, and interdisciplinary team work.

This online program begins February 1, 2021 and is offered to Canadian Citizens or Permanent Residents ages 18-29 who possess an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (or equivalent) are low income, unemployed or under employed and bondable to work in financial services.

Eligible applicants must have strong literacy skills and will be assessed for English Communication and Numeracy Competency.  Suitable applicants will be contacted for a personal interview with the program admission committee.

Full scholarships are available from the Pinball Clemons Foundation as well as a 7 week paid internship provided by RBC.
