The Business Administration – Human Resources three-year advanced diploma program provides you with an in-depth understanding of human resources management, giving you a competitive advantage in today’s people-centred workplaces. As a graduate, you'll be able to make a meaningful impact on the lives of others in a rewarding career as an HR professional.

The business world is changing fast, and organizations know that their greatest asset is their employees –and the need for talented HR professionals is greater than ever. The Business Administration – Human Resources three-year advanced diploma program will give you everything you need to break into this exciting and in-demand field.

Here are some skills you’ll be able to show off after completion of the Business Administration – Human Resources program:

  • designing human resources policies and programs
  • attracting, retaining and developing a productive workforce
  • managing diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives in the workplace
  • ensuring the health and safety of employees
  • advising on employee and labour relations

Educational Pathways

For those students wishing to pursue an optional Training and Development stream, George Brown Polytechnic offers courses that may be applied towards the Certified Training and Development Professional (CTDP) designation offered through The Institute for Performance and Learning. Students who have successfully completed the three-year Business Administration – Human Resources advanced diploma with an overall grade point average of 3.0 or higher are eligible for block transfer admission into semester 5 of the Human Resources Strategy and Technology degree program at Seneca College.
