Full-Time Status:

You are registered full-time if your course load is 70% or more of your total semester hours, or you are registered in 66 2/3 % or more of the required courses for your program for the term.

  • If you are an OSAP recipient, you are registered full-time if your course load is 60% or more of your total semester hours, or you are registered in 60% or more of the required courses for your program for the term.
  • If you are registered with Accessible Learning Services (ALS), you are registered full-time if your course load is 40% or more of your total semester hours, or you are registered in 40% or more of the required courses for your program for the term.

If you register for additional courses beyond the total required by your program for the semester, please note that this will result in additional fees.

 

Part-Time Status:

You are registered part-time if your course load percentage or the number of required courses for your program for the term is less than the above threshold for each category.

Note that course transfers (transfer credits and advanced standing) and Standing Deferred (SD) courses are not included in the Full-Time course calculations.
