Credit Transfer Agreements (Block Transfers)
George Brown Polytechnic also has a number of credit transfer (or block transfer) agreements with other colleges and universities. These agreements allow students to transfer a group of courses completed elsewhere into selected programs at George Brown. Students who are eligible for block transfer may be able to enter the program at a higher semester.

Note: If you have completed one or more semesters at another institution, but are not eligible for one of our block transfer agreements, you also have the option of applying for advanced standing through Ontario Colleges at https://www.ontariocolleges.ca
