The English for Academic Pathways at George Brown Polytechnic (R903) program helps you transition from a part-time continuing education program into one of our full-time programs. 

Through a carefully designed sequence of advanced ESL and academic preparation courses, you will build the language proficiency, critical thinking, and communication skills needed for post-secondary study.

Upon successful completion of this pathway program, you will meet the minimum English language admission requirements for any of George Brown’s full-time certificate, diploma, advanced diploma, postgraduate, and bachelor’s degree programs.

Program Details:

• Completion of this program eliminates the need to submit TOEFL, IELTS, Duolingo, or George Brown's English Admissions Assessment.
• George Brown's Admissions Department recognizes these pathway courses as meeting the English Language requirement for full-time certificate, diploma, advanced diploma, postgraduate, and bachelor’s degree programs.
• This pathway is designed exclusively for students continuing their studies at George Brown Polytechnic.
• Completion of this pathway does not guarantee admission to a full-time program. Applicants are still assessed and ranked alongside all other applicants and must meet all additional program-specific admission requirements.
