ESL 9089 - Advanced English Communication for Canadian Healthcare

This course is designed to develop advanced English communication skills required for effective and professional interaction in Canadian healthcare-related settings. Through task-based learning and scenario-based practice, learners will strengthen their ability to communicate clearly, collaborate within diverse teams, and respond appropriately in a variety of workplace situations. The course incorporates authentic scenarios to build fluency in using medical terminology and exchanging essential information. Learners will also gain insight into the structure and expectations of the Canadian healthcare system, with a strong focus on developing cultural competence and applying ethical communication practices in professional contexts.

Prerequisites: You must have completed ESL 9067 or achieved an equivalent English placement test result (see below).
