The Honours Bachelor of Technology in Construction Management bridging program offers those with a three-year advanced diploma in Construction Engineering Technology, Civil Engineering Technology, Architecture Technology, Interior Design Technology or Building Renovation Technology to pursue a degree in the field. You must complete all semester 4 courses successfully (i.e., achieve a grade of C- in all courses and a semester GPA=2.70) before registering for semester 5 of the Honours Bachelor of Technology in Construction Management program. The three-year Interior Design advanced diploma program prepares you for a future in the interior design industry. This program not only helps you become a valuable member of a design team, but also gives you life skills that go well beyond the world of design. Each semester, your main studio courses teach you how to develop conceptual designs for residential and commercial spaces, how to represent designs in 2D and 3D using a broad range of architectural drawing programs and how to communicate design intentions using construction drawings. In your project work, you’ll incorporate building code, sustainability, accessibility, lighting, textiles, furniture, colour and ergonomics. Although selection of finishes is part of what we do, this is not a decorating program. | |||||

Gain expertise in advanced power and control systems in the three-year Electromechanical Engineering Technology – Power and Control advanced diploma program. Developed in collaboration with Toronto Hydro, this program combines theoretical and practical experience, enabling you to work in a wide variety of electrical engineering areas, including power and control systems, utilities, industrial automation and robotics, instrumentation and process control. The curriculum incorporates theory, applications, practical experience and safety practices from power systems, utilities, manufacturing, control system, automation and computer industries. Our state-of-the-art labs, including Precision Machining, CAD/CAM, CNC, Research, and Robotics, will set you up with hands-on training and real-world skills. You’ll design and manufacture tools, jigs, fixtures, precision fabrication, assemblies and prototypes using computer-aided design and manufacturing software, precision machining equipment and sophisticated CNC machine tool technology.
