This week, we are kicking off Black Futures Month — a time for us to recognize and celebrate the incredible work and achievements of Black communities, including those here at George Brown College.

This is the ninth straight year we have made the Greater Toronto's Top Employers list! Find out why we were selected.

Minister Nolan Quinn visited the college for a two-hour tour that included a site visit at Limberlost Place, our mass-timber building opening in 2025, and our health sciences and hospitality and culinary arts learning environments.

We highlighted George Brown’s role as a climate change solutions leader through academic programming, partnerships and capital projects such as our mass-timber building, Limberlost Place.

The event was co-hosted by the Canadian Wood Council and George Brown College’s Brookfield Sustainability Institute, as part of their multi-year strategic partnership.

George Brown has partnered with the Afro Canadian Contractors Association (ACCA) to deliver targeted training in business development, financial management, and leadership to entrepreneurs.

The new and improved courts at Firgrove Park provide a direct link between sport and education for young people in the community.

Franklin studied marketing at George Brown — an education he says helped propel his career in marketing, public relations and communications.

GBC’s Limberlost Place to be heated and cooled using Enwave’s world-renowned deep lake system.

GBC received funding to work with industry and local employers to develop Housing Maintenance and Construction and Infection Disease Control microcredentials.
