Biography
Dr. Viji Vibhu Prakash is an industry specialist and academic, with extensive experience in HR. With a Doctor of Business Administration, she has over 15 years of operational expertise in programming and student management, curriculum planning, experiential teaching methodologies and online learning systems. As Program Coordinator she plays a leadership role within the Postgraduate programs of HR and People Analytics and plays a key role in developing Programs and Courses within the School of Management. She played a key role in co-developing the People Analytics program and its courses and designed program pathways. She participates and engages in ongoing program audits, curriculum re-design and development initiatives collaboration with Ministry mandates.
As faculty and professor, she is adept at leveraging data analytics and AI-driven personalized learning strategies to enhance student outcomes. Focusing on increasing student engagement she incorporates UDL principles and authentic assessments within her courses. She has a proven track record of cultivating collaborative partnerships and leading cross-functional teams to drive educational excellence.
As a Certified Trainer, and MBTI Step I & II, assessor, she has trained, coached and mentored across industry verticals of automobile, retail, pharma, not-for -profit, FMCG and supply chain and she brings this experiences into her classroom to support experiential learning. She is a team player and collaborator with strong accountability and passion to go above and beyond. As a researcher, she is specialized in Action Research, her doctoral research topic was in the area of performance management with specific focus towards real- time performance management.

OTHER ACTIVITIES
- HRPA Case Competition – Mentored and coached students team from the postgraduate People Analytics Program. The team came 5th among 25 participating teams across Ontario Colleges
- Riipen - Collaborated with Riipen a work-based learning platform to support students with organizations on real industry projects to bridge the gap between higher education and employment. Coordinated 42 students to engage in experiential learning, by integrating a US based HR Consulting project into the curriculum, helping students gain real-world experience and improve employability skills
- Program Review, participated in a 4-month HR standard review process organised Postsecondary Education Quality Assessment Branch (PEQAB) through a Broad-Based Consultation (BBC) survey with Ministry of Colleges and Universities. Attended and contributed to discussions across 23 sessions with 189 online attendee and provided important feedback and realistic revisions to the Vocational Learning Outcomes (VLOs) and Elements of Performance (EofPs)
