George Brown Polytechnic is located on the traditional territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation and other Indigenous peoples who have lived here over time. We are grateful to share this land as treaty people who learn, work and live in the community with each other.
George Brown Polytechnic continues to innovate and expand its academic offerings to meet evolving industry demands. We are proud to introduce several new programs that equip students with the right skills and the training to be job-ready upon graduation.
Here are the new programs we’ve got in store for 2026-2027:
- Master of Construction Management (T550) – Canada’s only program that integrates technical mastery, sustainable innovation and strategic leadership that develops forward-thinking construction professionals in transforming the built environment.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Honours) (S318) – A four-year degree that will prepare you to contribute positively to Ontario's health care system and beyond. You will develop the requisite skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care to individuals at all stages of life while meeting the needs of various communities and populations.
- Occupational Therapist Assistant and Physiotherapist Assistant (S126) – Be immersed in a unique interprofessional education experience that includes developing your skills in our accredited Simulation Centre as you learn to become a vital member of an allied health care team.
- Smart Building Design and Operations (T420) – This program prepares you to design, integrate, and manage the systems that keep modern buildings efficient, automated, and data-driven.
- Embedded Systems Development (T415) – A focused graduate certificate program in Embedded Systems, designed in collaboration with industry to address the growing demand for embedded and IoT professionals.
