How do I audit a course?

Main Content
1458 views

A course audit is granted when a student formally elects to waive the course credit by choosing not to be evaluated.

Post-Secondary Students:

If you are a post-secondary student, you must obtain approval from the Dean or Associate Dean in your Academic division to register for a course with audit status. Once approved, the academic division will notify the Office of the Registrar to process the registration and provide further instructions.

Please note that once the audit status has been granted, you cannot change your decision to now receive credit for the course. An AUD (Course Audit) grade will appear on your transcript, and this grade will not be included in your GPA calculation.

Continuing Education Students:

If you are a continuing education student, see Course Audits for more information.
