How do I appeal a late withdrawal?

Main Content
2451 views

The appeal process is available to post-secondary and continuing education students who, due to extenuating circumstances beyond their control, are seeking an exception to the withdrawal policy.

To submit an appeal for late withdrawal, please email the Office of the Registrar at regappeal@georgebrown.ca for assistance.

Please note that students are responsible for knowing and adhering to the George Brown's policies and deadlines related to their courses and programs. You will be required to provide supporting documentation demonstrating the extenuating circumstances beyond your control that prevented you from meeting the deadlines.

All appeals must be submitted within six (6) months from the last day of the term for which you are requesting an appeal. See Important Dates for deadlines.
