Desjardins Scholarships: Rewarding students for Their Hard Work

Every year, the Desjardins Foundation makes a real impact on the lives of post-secondary students by awarding scholarships, which help them stay focused on their studies.

At George Brown College, we recognize that students go beyond the classroom to build their futures. Whether you’re training for a career, actively contributing to your community, or showing dedication to your education, your hard work deserves recognition. That’s why startGBC proudly supports the Desjardins Scholarship Program, which rewards students for their commitment and not just their grades.

What Makes This Scholarship Unique?

Unlike traditional scholarships based on academic performance, Desjardins awards scholarships to students who demonstrate perseverance, dedication, and community involvement. Thousands of dollars are available each year for students in college, university, or skilled trade programs—regardless of their field of study.
