George Brown Polytechnic is located on the traditional territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation and other Indigenous peoples who have lived here over time. We are grateful to share this land as treaty people who learn, work and live in the community with each other.
George Brown College's Yaroslav Svidritskiy has etched his name in the college’s athletics history by becoming the first volleyball player to be named both the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) East Division Player of the Year and a Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) All-Canadian.
In his debut OCAA season, Svidritskiy made an unprecedented impact, achieving a remarkable trifecta never before accomplished in Huskies men's volleyball history: East Division Player of the Year, CCAA All-Canadian, and OCAA League Scoring Champion.
